Narrative
Alo Chrispin non mwen. I just said Hello my name is chrispin in Creole that's what we speak in my country and also French. I live in Haiti In the city of port-au-prince the capital of Haiti. I was born and raised in port-au-prince with my family. I am the oldest child of five two brother and two sister. My life was going into a good direction, family was healthy, I was going to college Until... on Tuesday, 12 January 2010 A massive Earthquake hit haiti with 52 Aftershocks. My family mad it out on time but our house and car got destroyed leaving us homeless. After this massive destruction my family where on the look out for a safe place to stay and as we walked many civilians were injured and also many where dead and it was very frightening. 2 days later a civilian told me "Nou gen pou ede" which means we got help. We found out the world is helping us by sending food. clothes, drinks, etc. Haiti is still need of help. Many are sick and dying and we know it will take a while for us to recover but at least we know many other country are giving us the helping hand to recover my homeland Haiti. My family is moving very well Mom and dad are safe sister are ok but my brother, one of them broke his leg on the way for shelter and the other is catching something we don't know. Were all still happy that we survived even thought my brothers are hurt a little. My family wants to say thank you to all countries for helping my brothers. The doctor gave them medicine. Thank you world for giving us support
